musi cd mount

Im using college linux and i can mount normally any data but when i try mounting a music cd it says this: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdd,
or too many mounted file systems. Even when I try it mounting as root. My fstab is this:
/dev/hdd /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,users ro 0 0

an audio cd like for a compact disk player has no file system. you don't mount it

Normally you don't mount audio cd's, however, if you are going to use xmms or similar application you will have to tell it where the CD is...

If you xmms.. you will need the CD Audio plug-in... most likely it's already installed. Then you need to configure the plugin for your cd... In your case the device /dev/hdd and the mount point /mnt/cdrom.

once configured you can play audio cd's with xmms as such:

xmms /mnt/cdrom
