Multiple Hard Drives in one Linux server

I'm running a SuSE 8.1 fileserver and I want to install a second hard drive in it.
But since it doesn't work like Windows (C-drive, D-drive etc.) I'm kind of at a loss on how to access it. (Please note: I don't have the drive yet so I haven't tried anything myself)
