multiple disk failure in RAID5 and dd

We had a multiple disk failure in RAID 5 are trying to assemble it back together.
Since we had similar disks and we can read all the failed partitions. Now
we would like to use dd to make failsafe copies of those partitions. Is
it possible to use dd to make copies of RAID 5 partitions? Is there a way
to make exact copies of the disks and use them in RAID5?

With raid 5 you suppose to have one spare disk . In the event that one of the other disk is failing , then this hot spare will take the place of the failing disk , the system will allow you to change the failingdisk without loosing the data at all . Depending of how new your system is , you can even hot change them .

What you can also do is use dd but for the whole raid 5 volume into another disk but splitting the volume will destry the raid .
