Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

multi-monitor setup question

Ok, what I am trying to do is setup 3 monitors to run 3 separate desktops. I have a nvidia card that can run dual-head and a s3 card. If I run XFree86 -configure, it sets up my nvidia card as single-head and sets up the s3 card. This setup runs correctly, but when I add a second screen to the nvidia card, I get a "no matching config section" for the s3 card. I can have all three if I use nvidia's twinview, but that stretches the desktop(which is not what I am aiming for). Can anyone tell me what I missed?

Files: ( I can't post urls yet, so you will have to get the address from my profile)

Working config with twinview:

NVIDIA Nforce2 chipset
Video Card 0: GeforceFX 5600 (nvidia)
Video Card 1: S3 Inc. 86c325 (s3virge)

Debian Unstable
kernel: 2.6.7-1-k7
nvidia graphics driver version: 6106
