Multi-channel audio card

I have this problem,
bought new card M-audio Delta 44,
On alsa it works fine, but I need OSS emulation, you ask why? mp4live ( which is from mpeg4ip packet, I use it for streaming audio/video ) does not talk to alsa devices.
I have loaded snd_pcm_oss, snd_mixer_oss, but in mixer I only see on channel Digital1 where are the others? Maybe some params to snd_pcm_oss or snd_mixer_oss would help?

has anyone tried? succeeded?

If you compile ALSA to include OSS emulation, you should not have any problems. Most programs default to /dev/dsp or /dev/dsp0. I think you are mistaken Digital1 as OSS which I think is not. I think it is either digital in or digital out using SPDIF.
