MSI motherboard - keyboard and mouse don't work.

I have a new recently installed MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI motherboard that doesn't detect the mouse and keyboard that are connected through USB 2.0 ports. No matter which USB ports I tried and BIOS settings I use when I start the computer they are not detected. If I hold down the main power button to force shutdown and press the power button again they both are detected when it gets to Grub and the computer boots fine once I enter my password to decrypt. Doing this creates the unavoidable message from the terminal when I run "sudo fsck -a -r /dev/sda1".
Code:
Dirty bit is set. Fs was not properly unmounted and some data may be corrupt.
 Automatically removing dirty bit.
Does anyone know how to get the mouse and keyboard detected every time I boot up the computer?

This might be a power related issue.. ie. you may not have the option to enable USB power on boot enabled in the bios. Thus it may not power/see them since you did a "hot/warm reboot" rather than a "coldboot".

Make sure any power related settings in the bios make sense and try it out..

Thanks. I just tried that and nothing worked. When the mouse and the keyboard is not detected it doesn't even go to Grub and no decrypt window. I always have to hold the main power button down and press it again which it will only boot up then.

I found that MSI never checked their work by installing a BIOS that actually works. I updated the BIOS and it works now.
