Mouse USB + hotkeys on my NotePad

Hello to everybody!

I've a problem with my USB Mouse.. Now I'm using my touchpad and it runs very well.. So, I wanna made a little question:

1) On the bottom of my touchpad i'v 4 arrows (up, down, left and right), how to configure it?

2) I tryed to install my mouse USB.. I done:
xorgsetup -> it creates some problem to my desktop and it doesn't run..
So I decided to do:
On my slackware 11 on /etc/rc.d/rc.modules I deleted the comments (#) on:

/sbin/modprobe uhci
/sbin/modprobe hid

On my xorg.conf i made:
Identifier "Mouse2"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "ImPS/2"
Option "SendCoreEvents" "true"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"

And then I run:
gpm -t ps2 -m /dev/input/mice

But the USB mouse doesn't run!

I've an other problem, how to implement hotkeys on my Acer Aspire 5100? I tryed xev but it doesnt run obviusly (I've not XFree86)..

I look forward to hearing from you!
Best Regards

Of course USB mouse didn't work with ImPS/2 protocol! Did you tried Option "Protocol" "USB"?
