Mouse Side Click Issue in Firefox

My mouse's middle button can middle click and also be pushed to the sides. My problem is that pushing the middle button left acts the same as clicking the left mouse button. So, when I middle click on something (open a link in a new tab, for example) my finger may slip and push it left (which opens the new link on my current page).

It's very frustrating, since I end up with two tabs on the same page. The side click is rather sensitive, so it's hard to avoid pushing it.

The side click also seems to work like this in other places (like the top menus) but not in other places (like the File Browser).

All I really need to fix the problem is a way to unmap the side clicks. In Windows, I used a program called SetPoint to map the mouse buttons in Windows, but how do I do so in Ubuntu?

Thanks in advance.

You should look on Google before you post a question. I went to Google and entered the following search phrase.
Quote:

linux + mouse + button + map
Google provided numerous useful links. Here is one of them.
