I already entered the line below at /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"

P.S I'm using with a KVM IC-714-I switch btw.

thanks

it should be

space between Axis and Mapping

I disagree -- there should be no space between Axis and Mapping. Can you post the Mouse section of XF86Config (for v9.1) or xorg.conf (for v10.0) -- J.W.

Under xorg.conf

Fedora Core 2
Code:
Section "InputDevice"
	Identifier "Mouse0"
	Driver "mouse"
	Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
	Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
	Option "Emulate3Buttons" "yes"
	Option "ZAxis Mapping" "4 5"
EndSection
Strange, under the other machine (I'm using a kvm switch to share monitior, mouse and keyboard btw), the device is /dev/psaux. But the scroll also doesn't work.

Fedora Core 1
Code:
Section "InputDevice"
	Identifier "Mouse0"
	Driver "mouse"
	Option "Protocol" "PS/2"
	Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
	Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
	Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no"
EndSection
