mouse scroll not working?


i'm using a logitech mx510, here is my core pointer inputdevice config info for x

Identifier "Mouse1"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "Buttons" "10"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "9 10"
Option "Resolution" "800"

i tried xev and the zaxismapping is set on the right buttons (9 and 10)

perhaps button 9 and 10 aren't your scroll buttons.

try running "xev", moving your mouse over the window, and scrolling up and down. It should tell you what button they are. Try not to move the mouse also.
