Mouse problem
I have an optical mouse (2 button with roller) and it was moving in a jerky manner around the screen. I changed speed and acceleration and all sorts of other things but could not get it to move as smoothly as under Windows.
So I changed the mouse to a PS/2 mouse under the control panel. When next I tried to logon the mouse doesn't move at all. How can i go about changing the settings back to the original. If i could just get to the menu using the keyboard (like in Windows using Ctrl-Esc) I'm sure I could sort the problem out as well. If it matters i am using KDE (3.1 I think). |
If you are using Mandrake, you can use the control center without the gui. To do this press the following key combination:
ctrl+alt+F1 That will take you to a text login. Login as root. Then type: drakconf That will open the control center in a text version. You can use arrow keys, tab key, and enter keys to navigate the menus and make selections. You will see a mouse configuration selection there. Hope that works. |
thanks
