mouse on crack : >

I just installed Fedora Core 2 and the mouse isn't responding properly. I have a weird GE mouse and keyboard set from Compusa going through a LinXcel KVM switch. After checking the mouse isn't on there so I will probably end up buying another set, but would like some input here first. I have the mouse setup as a generic wheel mouse ps2.
Any help would be great THANKS!! in advance!!
I love those penguins

it does move, but not the direction I want it to. It also acts like I am pressing the button all the time like machine gun. I have so many windows opening it is nuts. I know the mouse and KVM switch works. I am using it in XP and it works great.

To fix similar behavior with my Logitech wheel mouse, I found it necessary to add "psmouse.proto=imps" to the line in grub.conf that boots my 2.6 kernel. This may or may not be correct for your mouse, of course.
