Mouse NOT detected! Feather Linux

What is the deal with my PS/2 mouse not being detected? I could maybe have some more compassion for that issue if it was a brand new USB, bluetooth/wireless mouse on an old distro. But this is on a new release, and a rather standard mouse.

The deal is it Feather Linux, it wont detect my mouse, even though it asks me before I boot it what type of mouse I got.

Any ideas?
