mounting manually USB pens on 2.6 kernel

Hi guys,

I would like to mount manually by terminal my usb pen, this was the syntax I used on old 2.4.x kernel:

mount -t vfat /dev/sda /mnt/usb

now the problem is I can't find the analogue of /dev/sda on 2.6.x kernel...

new hotplug subsystem for instance?
