Mounting Gateway DMP 200 MP3 Player on Red Hat 9
right now, im in schoolon an IBM with WIN2000 Pro, lol, it sucks, I have Red Hat 9 and after a month or so after having linux i still cant figure out how to mount my MP3 Player, so my MP3 Player is a Gateway DMP-200 and if anyone is good with mounting drives, i would appreciate it if you could help me, and i am a n00bert so please explain commands to me and what they mean!!! i will check this post when i get home from school to see if anyone has replied, thank you so much, i will definately appreciate someones help

You will need to mount it like so, as root (just for now- this is the basics):
mkdir /mnt/media mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/media If that doesn't work, you can also try umsdos in place of vfat. Hope this helps. |
