Mounting an external firewire hard disk??


Hi ppl,

I've got a external lachi hdd that I'm trying to mount to my Red Hat 9 system, just wondering what device ref I should be using? As in hda is hdd0 hdb is hdd1 for ide, so what do I use for the firewire controller / hdd?

Anyone know?

/dev/sda1, if the drive is the only SCSI, USB or Firewire on your system. Also assuming the drive was already formatted.
