mount point for USB memory stick

I am running 2.4.7-10smp and trying to mount a memory
stick through the USB (1.1) connector. But I don't know
what the mount point is after the stick has been inserted
into the USB.
The dmesg is:
hub.c: USB new device connect on bus1/1, assigned device number 2
usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0xc76/0x3) is not claimed by any active driver.
Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
usb.c: registered new driver usb-storage
scsi2 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
Vendor: Model: Rev:
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
WARNING: USB MAss Storage data integrity not assured
USB Mass Storage device found at 2
USB mass Storage support registered.

This stick has windows stuff on it, and it mounts OK
on my Fedora system, which tells me the mount point is /dev/sda.

Can anyone help me?

Try mounting /dev/sdc, as 'usually but not always', scsi0=sda scsi1=sdb scsi2=sdc, and so on.
