Motherboard compatability question: K8N Diamond Plus
 

Hi!
I am consideringh to get a different Motherbaord to the one I have now.
Is anyone here using "linuxbutikken.no/PartDetail.php?q=p:913938;c:36123" <- that (I would post a link, but I cant...?) motherboard? Is there one you would reccomend?

It should have:
a 939 socket for my deliciously new and expensive amd processor
a pci-e slot for my ati graphics card (as a side note, can one have an ati graphics card on a motherbaord with an nvidia chipset? A friend of mine has that setup, but hes running a... different OS and I dont know if the same counts for Linux...

So the question is:

Does the suggested motherboard have suficient compatability, and, if not, what motherboards would you reccomend?

I have looked around, and it seems that MSI does have an alright relationship with Linix compatability, but I havent found any comments anywhere about it being alright with this particular motherboard.

Have you looked at the LinuxQuestions Hardware Compatibility List (HCL). There are a couple of K8N versions listed there.
