motherboard change
Hello
I am running redhat 9 with a Asuse socket 7 motherboard with a AMD Duron 650mhz Processer. I just bought a Asuse A7V8X-X Motherboard With a AMD Athlon XP 2600 processer to replace the older slower stuff. Is it reccomended that i reinnstall redhat 9 once i change the board and processer? Or would it Figure everything out on its own and set itself up? I have changed boards on window systems without having to reinstall and was wondering if redhat may work also. Thanks for any help or input on this topic. Drivesector |
it should definetaly work ...
i mean you may have to install some "new things" or set them up .. but other than that, you should be fine ... i actually did this about i think 3 months ago or so .... and when i booted up it was like nothing ever changed ... there was nothing out of the ordinary and it was as if i didn't even change anything .... it was nothing like in windows, when you have to sit there for 20-30mins while it picks up all kinds of crap ... |
Thank you !!
