Now, I am using Gigabite GA MA s2h with amd 5000+, they perform very well in linux

I recently added my newer mobo to the HCL, after several months testing time, it's an Intel DP35DP, with P35 chipset:

Look through the HCL for more if you're looking to buy.

No hardware problems at all (minus a drive that just failed, but it was in RAID 1 array so I'm fine).
