Hello,

Thanks for the links.

I didn't find the motherboard that i'm looking for, but I found out that SATA raid is not working with FC4. Am I right?

So i'll suspect i'll go with a motherboard with ide raid 1 and socket 939.

Any opinion would be welcome

Hi,

After a lot of research, I didn't find anything on this. So i'm going to go with the Asus AV8 Deluxe.

Anyone have tried this one?

Franck

PS: of course, i'll get back to you as soon as I have tried (sunday)

Any motherboard will work. I suggest the A8V instead of the A8V-Deluxe because Promise is not a good controller brand when using it in Linux. What I mean is Promise controllers are glitchy in Linux. I highly prefer people to use Highpoint than Promise controllers when using Linux. Promise controllers works well in Windows. If you are going to play intense games and you do not mind buying a GeForce7, I suggest an ABIT AN8 Ultra or Abit AX8. I suggest staying away from ASUS motherboards because the indicators and switch headers do not match the manual with two of my brother's ASUS models.

Hi I am using the AS8V happily in FC3.
