Monitor rotation

Just was wondering for xorg 6.8.2 what options need to be inserted to allow for rotation. Cause my new lcd has the capability to rotate 90degrees clockwise, would be nice if i could take advantage of this.
If you know of any links on this subject just post links

I can't confirm this for Xorg but the usual tool for KDE is "Screen Resize & Rotate"
from the kcontrol package (in Debian)
Is runs on the System Menu as an Application Button
My KDE Menu has it under System >
