monitor out of sync
 

i am using a samtron monitor with suse 10.0 . it runs properly except when some games are loaded. monitor goes out of sync with these games. can somebody please help me set this right?

Some games will want to run at a resolution different from your desktop default. You probably haven't set up your xorg.conf properly for these other resolutions.
Please post the contents of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file.
Please also update your profile on this forum so we know what distro you are using.

One more reason:-

Some games do require more resources when they do not get those,
system become unable to provide enough screen data to the monitor
and in turn it becomes out of sync.

Check out if your machine supports these games and also try to reduce useless services.
