Modem - Wrong Password or Login
 

Hi all,

Just want to share with those who use Net/Juno free but limited version of problem encountered. Seems overnight
suddenly could not connect. Kept getting Invalid password or login error. Drove me bananas. Confirmed all
was ok; was amazed that I overlooked the obvious. My modem connection (yes,modem) to a particular areacode and number no longer functioned.
As far as I know, I was not informed of this problem whether temporary or permanent. At the connection screen, I modified and changed to an alternate number and the problem was corrected. Net/Juno does comment on confirming your number but I did not see it referenced to the password error which can throw even the most experienced guys off the beaten path.

I'd suggest complaining to Net/Juno about this. Access number changes such as you described should not come as a surprise to their customers, and a post here at LQ likely will not be as effective as writing to them directly to express your unhappiness with their decision. Good luck with it, and you're right, sometimes the most obvious things are the hardest to see.
