Modem works once then doesn't
 

Hello,

I was running Kubuntu Fiesty today, and I just had gotten my modem to work with the agresm-20080203.tar.gz package. After the installation of my modem, i just went online and downloaded my nvidia-glx drivers for my video card. After a restart to get the drivers working with X-server, the command wvdialconfig tells me that it can't detect a modem anymore.

Please be advised I am new but I have learned a lot and willing to learn more.

Agere Systems PCI-SV9PP Soft Modem (Device manager from windows)
