Modem worked good yesterday. But today after it connects, sends the user name and password (which I can see with wvdial) it seem to just quit. I cant ping or connect a browser. When I try to reconnect I get the the following:
"Cannot open /dev/ttyS2: Device or Resource busy" "ERROR: Unable to initialize modem" Any sugestion would be appreciated
does it actually start pppd?
do a 'ps aux | grep ppp' to determine if its running.
As for the device busy, after it looks like it quit, I'm sure something is still running. A combination of 'killall pppd' and/or 'killall wvdial' should do the trick
