stamour547 LQ Newbie Registered: Apr 2003 Location: NY, USA Posts: 16 Rep:	Modem problem I am fairly new to linux and i am having a problem setting up a 56k modem. The modem is a US Robotics 56k Performance Pro Modem. i have physically installed the modem. After that i boot my system and the modem was detected but when i try to dial out i recieve and error code of 16. i do not know what this means or how to fix it. Any advice that anyone has would help greatly.
