i tried with kppp it detected the modem at ttys0
when i tried to connect it stops waiting at initializing modem ..them i even changed the pre init n post init delay time .even it didnt workd ..i think there is som pro with initializing string ..

From the log, it looks to me like you did connect but perhaps have not started point to point protocol:
Does kppp say you are still initializing the modem?

The only things that seem like they might be strange to me are
and
The first is saying it doesn't like the state of DSR (Data Set Ready), which is a hardware line (is there a problem with the cable?). I am not sure what the last line I quoted means. I have seen info like that logged after a connection is dropped, but I don't know if that is the case here.

I hope this gives you something to start troubleshooting with. While I don't understand everything in your initializaton string, I am not sure that is where the problem is.
