I just registered here in this forum and have to congradulate you for such good forum full of information for linux users.
Getting to the topic>
I got this old lap top (100 mhz) and installed Mandrake 6.* (I think that is the version) but I cannot get my modem to be recognized. The last time I used linux was back in 96 (was 14 at the time) and got it to work but NOW, that I am 22 I cant get it to work. Go wonder!
My modem is a SoundBlaster 56k pcmcia... any suggestions on how to install it?
