modem help

Hi

Installed mandrake 9.0 over the weekend all my hardware got picked up ok except for the modem a HSP56 MR made by PCTel, tried for a couple of hours to get it going but to no avail...can anyone help? Also checked interenet got a few pages with some help on them but could still not get it working.

try kppp and use /dev/ttyS0 - /dev/ttyS9 as modem device and and try

Not usre abt mandrake, but try this out .. after u download the .96v drivers
