I don't doubt it but memtest is something that won't hurt. It should show proper amount of memory on initial screen. A task worth learning too.

However if you are happy and you know it clap your hands.

Does my card have integrated graphics ?

Code:
# lspci -vnn | grep VGA -A 12

	Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device [103c:30dd]
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 48
	Memory at d0000000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4M]
	Memory at c0000000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
	I/O ports at 6120 [size=8]
	Expansion ROM at <unassigned> [disabled]
	Capabilities: [90] MSI: Enable+ Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit-

I just noticed that 2nd line says it does. :-)

It says about 256MB, but Intel uses something called dvmt (dynamic video memory) where it makes that available to the OS if you're not doing anything graphics intensive:

Thanks.

The pdf does not include my chip set.

I read somewhere that if you have 4 gb of RAM, the graphics uses 512M of memory.

No problem as I do not run any graphics intensive games.
