Mininum hardware for Windows client?
I am toying with an idea of creating a Linux based network for a small office with 10 Windows clients. The owners are thinking of upgrading their mostly windows 95 boxes and NT4 server.
It occured to me that if I were to keep the client data on the server then I could get by with small hard drives (2 Gigs) on each client desktop since they would only be running the Apps.
Also since they wont be crunching numbers or doing CAD, I feel could provide futher $aving$ by buying used 400 Mhz machines for the clients and installing max RAM in each.
Does anyone have an opinion pro or con about doing this?
Also would there be a problem installing several large hard drives (3 x 120 Gigs) on one server.
