mikomi web camera and Mandriva Free 2010?
Hello,
I'd like to install Mikomi web camera but when I issue command 'lsusb' and have it connected to computer (USB) it doesn't show any entry which would correspond to camera. Can I install this webcam in Linux?. Cheers. |
Plug in the camera, and type dmesg in a terminal. That will tell you if it is detected.

Good Day,
When I type dmesg this is what's showing up: usb 2-8: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 5 usb 2-8: New USB device found, idVendor=0c45, idProduct=60fe usb 2-8: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=1, SerialNumber=0 usb 2-8: Product: USB camera usb 2-8: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice usb 2-8: SN9C105 PC Camera Controller detected (vid:pid 0x0C45:0x60FE) usb 2-8: OV7630 image sensor detected usb 2-8: Initialization succeeded usb 2-8: V4L2 device registered as /dev/video0 usb 2-8: Optional device control through 'sysfs' interface disabled usb 2-8: usb_submit_urb() failed, error -28 ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: leak ed f64a7280 (#81) state 2 usb 2-8: usb_submit_urb() failed, error -28 And I checked there is /dev/video0 when I connect the camera. But Skype and Kopete don't detect any device. What's wrong?. Happy New Year, Cheers. |
try it with (cheese) or (wxcam)
gstreamer-properties in the terminal click video try v4l or v4l2 |
I tried wxcam, cheese, and gstreamer-properties and everywhere error is the same: There's no space on the device. What else can I do?.
Cheers. |
