Hello all,
I am having trouble in working my microphone attached with my machine. Initially it worked when i played some of the mixer settings. I saved the alsa settings using #alsactl store. But when i reboot the machine, the settings are gone. Then I tried "alsactl restore". Then the speakers start working but the microphone remained dump. Please help this is something urgent.
I can hear music from xmms, gxine and xine. I can even hear my friend's sound in skype. But the problem is that microphone is not working. I have earlier posted some threads regarding this , but unfortunately no one noticed it.
