Mercury TV Tuner card in SuSE

I'm here trying to use KDE's TV tuner program with my Mercury card, and it's being picked up as a Lifefiew Flyvideo 2000 card. It works...somewhat, but I can't get the card to respond to my tuning instructions, it's stuck on a half-dead channel between 2 & 3, and I can't move the frequency it's tuned to, though the program shows all normal responses. How do I get this tuning problem cleared, so as I can get the card tuned well enough so that I can have a decent picture of my video game, that I can currently see, though it looks like it's way out of range?

Note: if it means anything, the program used under Windows with this card is the Flyvideo program, which is also the name of the "Lifeview" card-ID.

I don't know what chipset this card is based on, but if it is saa7134, or bttv, then try adding this option to the appropriate kernel module: "card=number" where number is the identifier of your exact card model (google for it).
