after i installed nvidia display drivers, ubutnu uses 512mbs of memory for the video (only 128 is on the card, the rest is system memory.) how do i reduce this
Where are you getting these numbers from? If it's one of the onboard Nvidia chips you should be able to change it in the BIOS somewhere otherwise post where you got the 512MB figure from, might help find whats happening.
