MD5628-L-A Chipset under Redhat 9

Yes, I know this sounds familiar, but I can't get the driver to work! I've tried three different versions of the driver, but nothing will work! If anyone can help me with this, that would be great. On the driver that's worked the best so far, it says
"Error loading 536ep"
When loading 536ep-boot at boot time. HELP!?!
