MB AsRock P4i65GV

Is someone use MB AsRock P4i65GV with linux (chipset intel 865 GV).
Is there any problems ?

Welcome to LQ. Linux usually is pretty OS-neutral, and my guess would be that your mobo would work fine under Linux. The one area that sometimes can take a little work is with the onboard components (sound, LAN, etc) however if you're using Intel it should work OK. I'd say just go ahead and give it a shot. -- J.W.

hi to all:)
look i have buy that motherboard and i have install WinXP SP3
and then tryed to install Linux...Ubuntu 8.04 or 8.10,or Debian 5.0.0
or SUSE 10.1,nothing worked...except the GRUB loader...
i have one pentium 4 2.4 ghrz in 478 socket,
2 hard disks in Primary IDE and the first is winxp
one DVD-WR on IDE secondary
one hard disk on SATA1
and one DVD-WR on SATA2...
the kernel boots and then after some pages of letters on the screen it says some staff like calltrace and staf and then hung up that in both ubuntu debian or suse versions...i have try this 3 versions with other motherboards and works fine...i have tryed to install linux in one other motherboard of ASRock without SATA and dont works either...i dont know what to do..please help!:)
