For some reason, when trying to install Debian on a Maxtor drive, (which I have done before), it claims it needs a driver, and I need to know the name of the driver. I don't know what to look for...its a Maxtor 91360U4 <--Model Number, it also has N256 on it. I need help with this... Thanks.
Check your drive jumper and compare it to what it says to do on the disk drive label. Do what the label says, not what you think it should be. I've caused problems for myself when I set the jumper on a Maxtor drive to what I thought it should be instead of what the label on the drive said.
