Hi,
I have been running mandrake 9.1 with no problems until I decided to upgrade my video card.
This worked OK in win xp but then I tried to boot into mandrake and I just got a blank screen with 2 keyboard lights flashing at me [one was the caps lock]
I then tried a new installation both graphically and text modes but I got no further than mandrake loading to the desktop and freezing.
I am now back to my original video card and all is well.
What now-is this a driver problem?
How do I re-install mandrake with this new card.
Nvidia produces their own drivers for their video cards, really good ones too, check over at the Nvidia site for some step-by-step instructions on that card.
