Mandrake Soundcard troubles

my motherboard has onboard sound, and i also have an SB live, the problem is that in the mandrake install, it detects booth and installs both drivers.......

then when im in mandrake i have to manually configure each program to use the SB live and so far ive only been able to config 2, is there anyway i can delete the other driver, or make it so mandrake doesnt install it in the install?!?!?!?!?!

any help will be appreciated!!!!!

thanx!

Well, firstly, if it's an onboard s/c, try disabling it in your BIOS settings. This should, undoubtedly be the easiest way. If this doesn't work, then you will need to edit some config files to stop it from being probed at startup. Before we get into that, try BIOS disabling it.
