Mandrake Move 2.0 doesn't seem to find my USB flash drive

I've been using Mandrake Move 2.0 for 1 week. I've figured out how to connect to the internet and I've purchased the pqi intelligent stick 128mb flash stick as recommended on the Mandrake recommened HW area. In the boot process, from what I can tell, the software doesn't pick up the flash drive. Is it possible that it doesn't read it because its a 1.1 USB instead of a 2.0?
