Mandrake 9.1 disk/scsi driver?

I am installing Mandrake Linux 9.1 (well trying) and i have 2 Western Digital Hard Drives that are 125 gig each and they are connected via IDE.

I am at the part of the installation where it asks the questions. "Which disk/scsi driver should I try?"

well to tell the truth I have no idea what I am suposed to do any help? Thanks in advance.....

I can't recall being asked 'which disk/scsi driver should I try?' when I installed Mandrake 9.1; it should be mostly automatic as far as selection of those low-level parameters go. Look here for a good set of tips on installing Mandrake 9.1:

The section on BIOS settings is particularly important for a smooth installation.

So post your hardware. How are the drives connected?

Well the first post says it... but ok I'll go again
I have 2 western Digital Hard Drives Connected through IDE and I have a span array set up on both the drives. There both 125 gigs. Anything else?

Not really...

What kind of RAID controller is it? If it is built in what kind of motherboard do you have? Is this a linux only system or do you have windows installed?

You might want to check MDK hardware compatability list to see if your hardware is supported.
