PuNkErX LQ Newbie Registered: Sep 2002 Posts: 8 Rep:	Mandrake 8.2 Locks Up When Finding Audio I finally got into mandrake, but i had to go into the BIOS to disable the onboard sound. i went into mandrake, installed the drivers for my mobo, from the official site. Restarted. It found the sound on my mobo, but then it just locks up. I let it go for probably about 10 minutes, and nothing happend. Not really sure what else i can do, any suggestions would be appreciated. oh BTW, i have a nvidia nforce 420 mobo, onboard sound, video, lan. Western Digital HD. thanks
