System:
AMD Opteron 246 (2GHz), 2GB RAM, 2x 74GB 10k RPM SATA WDC WD740GD-00FL,
pcix Geforce 6200, foxconn NFPIK8AA mainboard.

Problems:
I build raid 0 (mirror) in bios config utility, but install scripts do not see raid, but two separate drives (sda, sdb). I searched the net, and found that nvraid is softraid, and therefore
setup does not see one.
Is there way how to make mirror raid from my two drives?

For now I installed linux to sda (ext3), and sdb (swap 6 GB and ext3 - rest of drive, mount point /data).

next problem:
when i copy lots of small files (600 dirs with aprox 20 files (100kb) in each dir) to /data/somedir - file system on /data becomes readonly after copyning about 80 directories.
(midnight comander stops with error: readonly filesystem (30))
after rebooting - i can copy next 60 dirs to partion /data and receive same error message.
if i copy big files (700mb) all gose normal.

Some ideas about it?
