mandrake 10.2 setting up wireless

hey all, i got mandrake 10.2 on my laptop emachines m5414
i got all the hardware working except two things the modem ( which i don't care for ) and the wirelss card ( which i really need )

i am running the system with windows xpsp2 and mandrake automatically mounted my recovery partition along with my windows parititon so I am trying to use ndiswrapper to install the windows drivers for my card, but i get this wierd error that mandrake failed .. .. .. .. .. please help

has anyone worked with linux ndiswrapper...

Can you specify the exact error message that you're seeing? Saying that it has failed is kind of vague, and having better details would be a big help -- J.W.

well sorry for the ambiguity
i guess i have a bad memory and just keep forgetting to note it down
but now it does it and seems like it installed the device
but it doesn't work

mmm tell you what i'll go through the procedure once myself again and this time i'll document it
then i'll reply back
