mandrake 10.1 won't boot into kde or any other graphical desktop


when i was installing it told me 'device was missing' when i tried to test my graphical settings. when i try to boot into linux it still tells me 'device is missing'. i've tried entering 'startx' in the command line. it tells me a 'device is missing'.

using mandrake 10.1. 6800gt.

doesn't say. just says 'device is missing'. i'll check again though. i'll update this post if i'm incorrect.
