Mandrake 10.1 Official USB UPS Locks up
 

I recently upgraded from Mandrake 10.0 to 10.1 official. Using Kernel 2.6.8.1-12mdk. After the upgrade my ups (APC ES 350, USB) causes the OS to lock up. During boot it locks up at "detecting new hardware" and sometimes even before or after that. When I unplug the USB cable for the UPS it boots fine. I'm not sure what information I would put in this post that would help, so please let me know if I need to post a config file or something.
