make you radeon 9600/9700/9800 work

After a long search I finally have my radeon 9600 pro working under fedora core

Since fedora is almost the same as redhat I think it will work in there 2

Go to this page and follow the instructions and hopefully you get the same result as I have

[x@localhost x]$ fglrxinfo
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: RADEON 9600 Generic
OpenGL version string: 1.3 (X4.3.0-3.7.6)

check it out

i have the same thing set up, with the same render string. but the generic part tells me that it's not detecting the card correctly and might be the reason why i am getting very poor performance in games like UT2004. What have you seen?
