Major Hardware changes - Newbie How to
I am just a few months into running linux for my desk top and what started as a small experiment on an old machine is about to switch to being my main desk top.
So right now I am running Fedora Core 2 on a dual processor PII 333mhz machine with PCI sound, video, and networking. I just bought a barebones AMD XP 2400+, 512MB Ram with on board sound, video and networking.
Am I crazy to think I can just pull my two 10gb disks from the PII and throw them in the new machine and everything will work?
I do not have any dual boot stuff or any windows installs anywhere on these disks, they are all 100% linux and will stay that way.
Any advise for a first timer?
